Telemarketing businesses must register with the New York State Department of State (NYSDOS). Employees of telemarketing companies are not required to register.
License holders cannot sales through any other media other than by telephone. License holders must understand the rules behind both registration and the Do Not Call Registry. Click the following link for more information about the Do Not Call.
